Onofre served as Attorney General of the State (AGE) of Minas Gerais, having previously held positions as Chief Prosecutor of Active Debt, Regional Prosecutor of the State, and Director of the AGE Study Center. He was also Superintendent and Tax Auditor for the State of Minas Gerais. u20h
He is a member of the Advisory Board of the College of Attorneys General of the States and the Federal District (CONPEG) and Scientific Director of the Brazilian Association of Tax Law (ABRADT).
He has extensive experience in Tax, istrative, and Constitutional Law, with a deep understanding of the procedures and processes of Public istration, as well as the operations and routines of public agencies.
He is an Associate Professor of Tax and Financial Law in the Undergraduate, Masterâs, and Doctorate programs at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He has also taught Tax Law at PUC Minas, UNA, and Faculdades Pitágoras, as well as in the Postgraduate Tax Law programs at Faculdades Milton Campos and IEC/PUC Minas.
He is the author/editor of more than 40 books and has written over 100 articles in books and specialized journals.
Recognized as the Most ired Lawyer in Mining and Steel Industry and as a specialist in the State of Minas Gerais, according to the Análise Advocacia ranking.
